Required Collateral courses
Foreign Language Requirement: One (1) - Two (2) course credits
Biological Sciences majors must satisfy the International requirement of General Education with foreign language -- generally two terms of the same language unless students waive a level or more. Students who waive one level must take still take one foreign language course at the appropriate next level. Students who are fluent in a second language may request a waiver of the language requirement from the Biological Sciences department. If granted, these students must still complete the college's International/Beyond the Borders requirement.
