WELL 201 Jog Your First 10k

The purpose of this course is to guide novice and non-runners through a training program to complete a 10- kilometer race (6.2 miles). Students will run twice per week during class and once per week on their own. Students will be required to wear running shoes for each class meeting. A course fee of $75 will be assessed to pay the race registration fee and transportation costs. This course satisfies one of the two activity course requirements of the general education curriculum. Noncredit for students who completed it as HHP 286
