HON 100 Via ad Honores

The course is an introduction to the Honors Program. Students learn the expectations and commitments that come with participation in Honors in addition to a general introduction to college. The course introduces students to the philosophical underpinnings of the Honors Program and begins developing the skills necessary to complete the Honors Program, particularly the Honors Thesis. Students are encouraged to explore the Honors Program curriculum and opportunities and to continue their pursuit of experiential learning and undergraduate inquiry. Each course is uniquely connected to the scholarship of the faculty member teaching the course.

HON 101 Pathways to Honors 1

Introduces the student to the Honors Program; students learn the expectations and commitments that come with participation in Honors. Each course is uniquely connected to the scholarship of the faculty member teaching the course. Students are also introduced to the Honors Symposia series. Graded.

HON 102 Pathways to Honors 2

Introduces the student to the philosophical underpinnings of the Honors Program and begins developing the skills necessary to complete the Honors Program.
