NUR 400 Adult Health Nursing II
Prerequisites: NUR 350 and NUR 355 with a C or better
This is the second of two adult health nursing courses and focuses on the care of acutely ill adults and older adults with complex and multi-system
health alterations. Building on foundational concepts, students further develop clinical judgment, interprofessional collaboration, and leadership skills
essential for providing safe, person-centered, and equitable care in high-acuity settings. Course content is organized by physiological body systems and guided by the AACN Essentials (2021). This course has five hours of didactic instruction per week and 84 clinical hours, including simulation per term.
