PMT 0108 Introduction to Welding (N)

In this course, students build the foundational skills required of professionals in the welding industry. Safe practices in preparing the work area, proper use of tools and equipment, and handling of materials are emphasized. Students use math to solve practical problems encountered in the fabrication of weldments. Thermal cutting processes such as Oxy/Fuel and Plasma, as well as weld inspection and testing to industry codes and standards, are also covered.
