Workforce Training and Engagement
The Training, Development, and Engagement Team supports students and supervisors by developing and delivering training across four areas:
- Orientation, for new student colleagues and new supervisors joining the program.
- Systems training, covering the tools used across the Work College Program, including TRACY UltraTime, NEOED, Handshake, and the Status Form site.
- Professional development, including leadership, customer service, and taking initiative training for supervisors and student leaders.
- Evaluation and assessment, supporting review and improvement at the supervisor, department, and program level.
The team is also available to help departments curate content for their Weekly Team Meeting sessions, with a focus on power skills tied to the NACE Career Competencies. Supervisors may request specific topics, and the team will work to address them.
In addition, the Training, Development, and Engagement Team leads the Student Leadership Development series and the Skills Spotlight recognition program.
