Attendance at Examinations
If a student is unable to
attend an examination, the student must notify the instructor PRIOR to the exam. The student must be able to substantiate a
valid reason for missing the exam, such as illness, religious holiday, or death
in the family. Except in extenuating circumstances, failure to notify the
instructor in advance will result in a lowered grade for that exam at the
discretion of the instructor.
If a student misses an
exam, the student must make arrangements with the instructor to take the exam
within 48 hours following the original exam date. The course instructor will determine the
format of the exam. Failure to make
timely arrangements to make up the exam will result in a grade of zero for that
exam.
