An introduction to the language and culture of the different ethnic groups in the United States. Content and emphasis vary. Graded on a satisfactory/unsatisfactory basis only.  May be repeated when content varies.

Designed to give students the ability to communicate on a basic level in a given language. Materials facilitate the practice of speaking and listening skills, emphasizing the situations one would encounter while traveling. Includes information about cross-cultural communication.
