PHAR 424 Advanced Community Pharmacy

This elective is designed to help students interested in community practice to develop and refine skills that will be necessary to enter this type of practice. The areas of focus are management, patient care services, traditional dispensing processes, over-the-counter products, communications, legal, staffing, interviewing, and problem-solving. The format of the class is a combination of traditional lecture/discussion and team-based learning.
