NUR 4827C Leadership and Management in Professional Nursing
In this course, students explore principles of nursing leadership and management with an emphasis on decision-making, priority setting, delegating, communicating, team building, and managing fiscal and human resources. The focus is on preparation of the professional nurse for leadership responsibilities in collaboration with the interdisciplinary health environment. Students engage in leadership experiences across a variety of clinical settings.
