FFP 2820 Principles of Emergency Management

In this course students learn the foundational principles of emergency management.  Along with interactive and experiential learning, students develop knowledge of community planning, coordination, and management functions.  Emphasis is placed on an all-hazards approach where emergency management is the function of coordination within all levels of government and the private sector to support preparedness, mitigation, response and recovery efforts.
