EME 2020 AI and Learning: Understanding and using Generative Artificial Intelligence

In this course students learn to effectively use generative artificial intelligence (AI) supported by educational theory and research. Students engage in practical application of AI to enhance learning and productivity. Key topics include: understanding how generative AI works, prompt engineering, academic integrity, using AI for research, verifying AI outputs, and integrating AI into daily tasks.
