UAST 1100 Drone Applications

This course introduces fundamental concepts necessary for the operation of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) and prepares students for drone use in commercial settings. Laboratory demonstrations and student practice parallel course work. Topic include: Commercial Applications, Laws and Regulations, Drone Operations, Operational Limitations, Remote Pilot in Command Certification and Responsibilities, Aircraft Requirements and Safety Considerations.
