Federal Student Aid
Eligibility is based upon the need analysis from the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and the student must be enrolled in an eligible program of study. Certain certificate programs at CTC are not eligible for federal student aid at Chattahoochee Technical College due to eligibility criteria set by the U.S. Department of Education. Concerned students may check with any financial aid office.
Pell Grant Lifetime Maximum
Students may only receive Federal Pell Grants for the equivalent of twelve (12) semesters of full-time enrollment at any institution. This applies to all students who have ever received a Federal Pell Grant. If the the 12‐semester maximum is exceeded, students are ineligible for any additional Pell Grants regardless of completion of program of study or undergraduate degree.
