Renewal of Awards
Unless otherwise stated, all forms of financial aid are generally renewed each year, provided there is Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP, determined by the Financial Aid Office) and academic good standing as determined by the policy established by the academic department of for the graduate student's program of study, demonstrated financial need and availability of funds. Some aid programs have specific eligibility requirements for renewal, which may be checked at different points in time. Provided these requirements are met, awards are renewed for the amount originally awarded at the time of admission. Student are not reevaluated for increases in scholarships in subsequent periods of enrollment.
Students must complete the FAFSA each year to receive aid from federal and some state and institutional aid programs. The Financial Aid Office reviews awards for returning students upon receipt of the FAFSA for the upcoming academic year.
