RTE 2385 Radiation Safety and Protection
In this course, students study the concepts of radiobiology and factors that modify the cellular response to ionizing radiation. Radiation effects in humans and animals are presented with particular attention to the Japanese atomic bomb survivors. Students learn radiation dose limits and radiation dose reduction strategies for patients, other personnel, and themselves.
