MAN 4583 Project Management

In this course, students plan, lead, and deliver projects that support organizational strategy. Students apply industry-standard frameworks and tools to initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control, and close projects. Emphasis is placed on defining scope, developing work breakdown structures, constructing schedules and network logic, managing budgets and costs, analyzing risk, planning for quality, making procurement decisions, and communicating with stakeholders. Students analyze and compare predictive, Agile, and hybrid project management approaches and select the most appropriate method based on project uncertainty and business context.
