DES 2530C Expanded Functions for Dental Hygienists

In this course, students learn to perform expanded functions permitted by the Florida State Board of Dentistry. Students study the ethical and legal aspects of dentistry. Students apply sealants, make impressions for study casts, place and remove rubber dam and matrices, apply cavity liners, apply varnishes and bases, and place and/or remove temporary restorations.
