BUL 3130 Legal and Social Aspects of Business
In this course, students explore how the law affects the world of business and how businesses interact with government, society, and each other. They will learn about the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC)—a key set of rules that governs sales and other commercial transactions. Topics include how laws are made and enforced, how businesses are regulated, and how legal issues connect with ethics, politics, and society. Students also study contracts, torts, business organizations, securities, antitrust laws, consumer rights, and employment law.
