PSJ 450 Sem. in Peace & Social Justice
Prerequisites: one 100 or 200 level PSJ course and junior standing
In this course, students will explore a range of key topics in Peace and Social Justice, such as war and peace, social movements and peacebuilding, alternative economic development, racial justice, and environmental sustainability. Because this is a small course, there is room to be flexible and take into account student interests in choosing the exact topics. Through reading, student-led discussion, independent projects, and a culminating paper, students will develop an integrative understanding that bridges and connects these (seemingly) disparate topics. In addition, students will be guided in the processes of post-graduate career and academic planning.
NOTE: Noncredit for students who completed PSJ 486.
