What constitutes atypical variation and leads to diagnosis of developmental delay and/or disability will be closely examined. Attention is devoted to the role of both individual and the environment in creating variations in development. Legal and ethical guidelines, IEP and IFSP development, intervention resources and strategies, and interdisciplinary service models are considered.
