ECO 250 Applied Statistics
Prerequisites: MAT 115 (or waiver); requirement met OR permission of instructor; sophomore or junior standing preferred
Topics covered are graphical display, descriptive statistics, probability, random variables, select discrete and continuous random variables, confidence intervals and hypothesis testing of means and proportions, correlation analysis, and simple linear regression analysis. Practical Reasoning with Quantitative Emphasis (PRQ). NOTE: Once students have successfully completed MAT 438, they may not enroll in and earn credit for ECO 250.
