ART 425 Fibers IV
Prerequisite: ART 325 or permission of instructor
This course uses accumulated knowledge and skills from all fibers courses and expects students to develop a cohesive body of art. Through sustained investigation, students will research and develop ideas, continue to explore process and making, and complete an intellectually and visually cohesive body
of art of their own design. Research and making is student directed with instructor guidance. By the end of the course, students should be prepared to enter into the senior capstone experience which culminates into a group or solo senior exhibition and professional public talk.
Six in-class studio hours each week. Course Fee: $15, plus the cost of materials. 1 Course Credit
