Registration
Student register and pay for classes by logging into MyRiverPortal. Note that instructors listed in the schedule are subject to change without notice.
To register, students must have completed a application for admission and be fully admitted to the college, including proof of US Citizenship, submission of Florida Residency documentation (if applicable),and no outstanding hold on their account.
Students are responsible for registering themselves for classes each semester by logging in to their student portal at https://irsc.edu/. Students with questions about how to register or who require a registration demonstration can schedule an appointment with their assigned academic advisor or utilize drop-in advising services through The River Line.
Registration is not complete and your schedule is not final until all tuition and fees are paid. Registration in all classes must be completed prior to the final deadline to register and pay for classes noted on the Academic Calendar for every term. Students who register for the first time after this date will be charged a non-refundable late fee. .
When you register for courses, you are financially committing to pay for your courses. By registering for one or more courses at Indian River State College, you are agreeing to fulfill a financial obligation to the College, and are responsible for the payment of tuition and/or fees associated with these course(s) by personal payment or Financial Aid (scholarships, or other state or federal programs) by the established payment deadline. To not be obligated for these expenses, you must drop any unwanted courses by the end of the published drop with refund deadline or you will be personally responsible for the financial payment of the costs of these courses. Indian River State College does not drop student who fail to attend their classes. Failure to pay this financial obligation may result in your account being referred to a debt collection agency and reported to a credit bureau. You may also be responsible for any additional costs or collection fees incurred in the collection of any debt, as allowable by law.
