HFT 2500 Marketing & Sales in the Hospitality Industry

Students explore strategies and tactics for managing service expectations and delivering high-quality service experiences. Students examine the role of service professionals in the design, staffing, marketing, and management of service systems, and learn how ongoing training and development contribute to consistent service delivery. Through applied activities, students develop the skills needed to create a positive guest service climate by leveraging the strengths of service professionals. Students also gain practical experience in hiring, training, supporting, retaining, and empowering employees within service-focused organizations.
