In this course, students learn the basic principles of proper troubleshooting techniques and the repair of electronic equipment. Students review direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) theory, diodes, transistors, op-amps, and logic circuits. Students review the function and operation of electronic test equipment as they apply to the troubleshooting process. Students create or repair a variety of circuits and prepare a report detailing their troubleshooting experience.
