TAD 130 Design and Documentation

A study of design and documentation with the purpose of developing plausible solutions directed toward real world problems. Students will explore and apply fundamentals of iterative design processes through individual and small group experiences. They will develop product designs while taking into consideration aspects of material/product testing, material selection, and production design. Product design iterations and prototypes will be facilitated through the use of computer aided design/engineering software and rapid prototyping equipment -- such as laser cutters, 3D printers, and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) equipment -- along with traditional tools and techniques. Course Fee: $10.
